FlashStories.net is the brainchild of Sean Jeffery, editor and publisher of Dark Tales, a regular anthology of horror and speculative fiction.

"Flash fiction is straightforward to write but a challenge to master," he says, "and I felt that there aren't enough outlets for this particular type of short story. Dark Tales focuses on any length of story, but mostly psychological horror, while here at FlashStories.net I have decided to open up to fiction in any genre and on any theme. It should be interesting and there may be a printed anthology if there are enough skilled flash fiction exponents out there!"
